Alan Hughes
Immediately prior to co-founding Axzona, Alan worked as Technical Director of the hugely successful RecruitmentScotland.com website where he and his team had sole responsibility for ensuring maximum availability & performance as well as the ongoing development of the site. RecruitmentScotland.com was sold to U.S. based competitor Monster.co.uk for $13.1 Million in May 2000.
Alan’s favourite pastime is scuba-diving in warm and sunny climates... it's no wonder he enjoys living in the tropics of Scotland!

Sheila McCall
Sheila McCall is a Director and co-founder of Axzona. Previously Sheila worked as a consultant for a multi-national financial software company. She specialises in the development and design of high performance relational database systems and has previously worked on large scale data mining projects for a major UK bank as well as high profile development projects for a leading UK IT consultancy.
When she's not pounding the treadmill at the local gym, Sheila enjoys sipping exotic cocktails at glamorous parties.

Jon Towers
Jon Towers is Axzona’s Sales & Marketing Director
and holds the CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing. His commercial talents have been put to use in the somewhat diverse fields of advertising, beer, whisky, IT and software. He joined Axzona in 2001 from an IT Reseller that majored in the successful Sage range of software, and which became Sage’s main dealership in Scotland.
Jon sings (badly)! However, he does do a great rendition of Rick Astley’s "Never Gonna Give You Up" after a glass or two of house red!
