Technical Summary
The net-ecg service consists of proprietary monitoring agents located in multiple, geographically dispersed, data centres. Each data centre provides maximum physical security, redundant power supplies backed up by UPS technology and generators, as well as the latest fire detection and suppression systems.
Monitoring agents are typically located at key ISP peering points and each agent is connected to the Internet via different Internet Service Providers (ISPs) - offering complete redundancy.
These intelligent agents issue frequent requests to determine the status of any application or device connected to the Internet. Failures are verified from multiple geographic locations and from multiple Internet Service Providers to ensure 100 percent alerting accuracy.
